アップルストアは新型コロナウィルスの影響で一時的に閉鎖されていました。そのため中国や韓国を除くと殆どの地域で営業していませんでした。
順次再開へ
しかしアップルは木曜日にはアップルストア510店舗のうち256店舗の営業を再開しました。また安全性に関する手順もアップルストアの従業員向けにマニュアル化されたようです。
50％復活
50％のマイルストーンは世界中のアップルファンにとって重要なことです。アップルは安全だと感じるまで営業を再開しないとしていたため、再開された地域はアップルが安全であると判断したということになります。もちろん世界的な危機は、健康データは何処でも改善されていません。またフランス、アメリカ、スペイン、イギリスのアップルストアの多くは閉鎖されたままです。
