Google Pixelといえば、カメラを常に重視したスマートフォンです。 競合に比べて抜きん出ていいというわけではありませんでしたが、カメラはGoogle Pixelを選ぶ上で重要な要素でした。
中でもGoogleはPixel所有者にGoogleフォトストレージの制限を緩め、無料でオリジナル解像度をアップロード出来るようにしていることも魅力の1つでした。
しかしGoogle Pixel 4、Google Pixel 4 XLについてはこのオファーはないようです。
オリジナル品質は利用できない
Google PixelとGoogle Pixel XLではオリジナル品質のGoogleフォトをアップロードすることが出来るサービスが提供されました。 その後Pixel 2、Pixel 2 XL、Pixel 3、Pixel 3 XLと引き継がれていましたが、Pixel 4でこのサービスの提供を打ち切ったようです。
